Elevated Performance for Singers

A Comprehensive Mind and Body Workshop
Date: Sunday, January 26, 2020
Time: 2:30pm – 7:30pm

Location: 918 Bathurst St. (N of Bloor),
Toronto [MAP]

Workshop Fee: $299

Includes healthy light dinner, take-home exercises, access to online membership, giveaways, and more.

This 5-hour workshop delivers a step-by-step guide to stage preparation. It focuses on managing your mindset and state using various tools including original meditations and NLP (Neurolinguisic Programming).

What is Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)

Its name is derived from how senses filter and process experience before storing it in brain (neuro), how one uses words and symbols to create mental pictures (linguistic), and how to ensure desired habits and attitudes become engrained (programming). NLP offers tools and techniques for modifying behaviour and state in the pursuit of self improvement, self management, and effective performance and communications.

You will also hone your body awareness and gain physical fitness through singer-specific exercises and take-home materials. Finally, you will have the chance to put it into practice singing!

Fit for the Stage workshops are where like-minded singers connect in person in a fun and focused environment to skyrocket their singing game.

What does the workshop offer?

  • Mindset gems for life through *neuro-linguistic programming activities (NLP)
  • Physical activity sets focusing on optimal energy and groundedness for performance
  • Guided meditations to improve focus and awareness on stage
  • Partner and group exercises
  • Group song to integrate the new tools into singing practice

Try this little warmup for your whole body. It’s my version of a modified burpee called ‘hit the deck’!
And if you’re joining other fab singers for our mind-body-voice integration day on the 26th, come dressed to sweat 💦 🔥.

Nothing like a workshop that ends in a group sing! 🎶
Oh, and this was right before the spontaneous dance party. 😝

Learn amongst other amazing singers how to transform your on-stage experience (and your audience’s!). ❤️
